National lists

National input lists contain products which comply with the EU organic legislation, and which are available on the market in a given country. Lists for private label organizations additionally take into account the private standards of the label organization. National input lists are published by the national partners who collaborate with FiBL Europe in the publication of the European Input List.

The Austrian input list is published by InfoXgen. It contains products which comply with the EU organic legislation and also with the Austrian legislation for general agriculture. The list also contains remarks on the compliance of products with the additional criteria of the private label organization Bio Austria. The list is published in German.

The German input list is published by FiBL Projekte GmbH. It contains products which comply with the EU organic legislation, and also with the German legislation for general agriculture. The lists for the private label organizations Demeter GermanyGäa and Naturland Germany also take into account the additional criteria of these organizations. The list for private gardening takes into account the additional criteria for private gardening. The products from the list for private gardening are not included in the European Input List. They can be found with the search tool on the project website. 
The German input list for Organic Processing is published by FiBL Projekte GmbH. It contains products which comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008. In cases of gaps in the EU regulation, FiBL defined criteria in coordination with private label organisations. All lists are published in German.

The Swiss input list is published by FiBL Switzerland. It contains products which comply with the Swiss organic legislation, with the Swiss legislation for general agriculture as well as with the additional criteria of Bio Suisse, the umbrella organization of the private label organizations in Switzerland. The list also contains remarks on the compliance of products with the additional criteria of the private label organization Demeter Switzerland. The Swiss input list is published in German and French. The list for private gardening takes into account the additional criteria for private gardening. The list for private gardening is published in German.
Note: The Swiss organic legislation is very similar to the EU organic legislation. In the few cases where the two legislations differ, only those products which also comply with the EU Organic legislation are also included in the European Input List.

The Dutch input list is published by FiBL Switzerland in collaboration with the Dutch certifier Skal. It contains products which comply with the EU organic legislation, and also with the Dutch legislation for general agriculture. The list is published in English and Dutch.

The European Input List is published by FiBL Europe. It contains products which comply with the EU organic legislation and with the national legislation of at least one European country. In cases of gaps in the EU organic legislation, FiBL defined criteria in coordination with private label organisations. It is published in English.

The Demeter International input list is published by FiBL Projekte GmbH. It contains products which comply with the standards of Demeter International. It is published in English.
